Chris Raab Wiki Biography
Christian Joseph Raab, also known by his stage name Raab Himself, is a television personality born on 21st May 1980 in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, USA. He is best known to public as an ex-member of the CKY Crew which was featured in MTV series “Jackass” and “Viva La Bam”. Apart from this, he has appeared in a few movies including the sketch comedy film “Hotdog Casserole” and “Borrowed Happiness”.
Have you ever wondered how rich Chris Raab is? According to sources, it has been estimated that Chris Raab’s overall net worth is over $1 million. Raab acquired his wealth mostly by gaining popularity as a television personality, and taking part in several TV shows and reality series during a career which now spans almost 20 years. Since he is still an active member of the entertainment industry, his net worth continues to increase.
During his teenage years, Raab became a high school dropout from East High School in West Chester, Pennsylvania. However, Chris then enrolled at Shipensburg University, and during his studies, he made his way into the entertainment industry by co-operating with his high-school classmate Bam Margera in the CKY (Crew Kill Yourself) video series, which became so successful that it subsequently carried-on until 2009. He later guest starred in the “Jackass” series, as well as in “Viva La Bam” in 2003, alongside Bam Margera, Ryan Dunn, Rake Yohn and Brandon Dicamillo.
Around this time, Raab got his nickname from Bam Margera who always introduced him by saying “This is Raab, himself”. Raab stayed as part of the cast until the show’s end in August 2005, although during the show’s filming, Raab decided to go back to Shippensburg University and finish his education, but didn’t have time to attend classes due to his dedication to the show. Chris also starred in the 2003 “Jackass the Movie” and filmed a “Viva La Bam Valentines Special” in February 200, at least maintaining his net worth.
Apart from these, Raab appeared in movies such as “Haggard”(2003), “CKY 4: Latest & Greatest”(2003), “The Vampire of Zanzibar”(2011), “Calendar Girl”(2011), “The Perfect House”(2011) and “Borrowed Happiness”(2012). His other television appearances include taking part in the first season of the 2006 show “The Dudesons”, “A Tribute to Ryan Dunn”(2011) and “CKY: The Greatest Hits”(2014).
When it comes to his private life, not much has been familiar to the public, with no concrete details of current relationships, or even rumours. He was apparently in a partnership with Ashlee Simpson, daughter of his manager, but no longer. It has been reported that Raab and Margera had a fall out during the filming of the “Viva La Bam” show. Raab is said to have left for California to pursue his acting career, but did re-unite with CKY in a 2014 special..
