Christopher Michael Draft was born on 26 February 1976, in Anaheim, California USA, and is a retired professional American Football player, best known from playing in the National Football League (NFL) as a linebacker. He was active in the League from 1998 to 2010, and all of his efforts have helped put his net worth to where it is today.

Chris was educated at Valencia High School, where he played both baseball and football, becoming an All-American in both sports. He played as a running back and linebacker, and was also a member of the school’s ASB Leadership organization. He then switched to the inside linebacker position, garnering several honors throughout his college career, totaling 316 tackles. He would graduate with a degree in economics.

In 1998, Draft joined the NFL Draft and was selected in the sixth round by the Chicago Bears. He appeared in one game for the team, and would spend most of his time as part of the practice squad. The following year he became a part of the San Francisco 49ers, appearing on the special teams for a total of seven games during the regular season. After being waived, he was signed by the Atlanta Falcons, and would play from 2000 to 2004 with them. During this period, his net worth started to increase, playing mostly as a weakside linebacker. He established his career high in tackles in 2003 with 124, and would play as a middle linebacker towards the end of his run with the Falcons.

Chris then signed with the Carolina Panthers in 2005, and his net worth continued to rise further. He would play with the Panthers throughout the season, and be a part of three postseason games. Afterwards, he signed a three year contract with the St. Louis Rams, continuing to play with them until he was released in 2009. Later in the year, he signed a contract with the Buffalo Bills after an injury to starting linebacker Kawika Mitchell. His last team would be the Washington Redskins, which he was a part of for a few months in 2010 before retiring at the end of the season.

For his personal life, it is known that Draft married Keasha Rutledge in 2011 after being in a relationship for five years; she passed away from lung cancer a month after their marriage. He continues to be active in the community, joining numerous projects and organizations. He is the founder of the Chris Draft Family Foundation, and has worked with the American Lung Association, as well as Climb California.
