Candace Helaine Cameron was born on 6 April 1976, in Panorama City, Los Angeles, California USA, to Robert and Barbara and is best known as the actress who portrayed D.J. Tanner in ‘‘Full House’’ and in ‘‘Fuller House’’.

So just how rich is Candace Cameron Bure as of early 2018? According to authoritative sources, this actress has a net worth of over $12 million, with her wealth being accumulated from her over three decades long career in the mentioned field.

Candace entered the entertainment business with appearances in several television commercials. She made her real acting debut with the role of Megan White in ‘‘St. Elsewhere’’ in 1982, and remained in the series over the course of the next two years. As of 1987, she appeared in an episode of the successful television series ‘‘Who’s the Boss’’ as Mona, and portrayed D.J. Tanner in ‘‘Full House’’, a beloved comedy television series, which won 16 awards such as ASCAP Award, BMI TV Music Award, Blimp Award and Young Artist Award. Appearing in all of its 193 episodes, Cameron gained considerable recognition and fans among the audience, as well as boosting her net worth.

In 1990, she had one of the most prominent parts in ‘‘Camp Cucamonga’’, in which she worked with John Ratzenberger, Chad Allen and Jennifer Aniston. In 1995, she starred as Mary (Juliet) in ‘‘Monster Mash: The Movie’’, working alongside Ian Bohen and Sarah Douglas, and then played the main role in ‘‘NightScream’’, which follows the story of Drew Summers, Candace’s character who, in a trance, drives to a small town she’s never been to. During the same year, she appeared in an episode of ‘‘Boy Meets World’’, a critically appraised television series, then went on a career hiatus.

Candace returned in 2001 with two projects, most importantly portraying Chief Karls in ‘‘The Krew’’; the movie which focuses on the story of a group of the kids who have been chosen to help keep the children of the world out of danger. As of 2009, Cameron joined the cast of ‘‘Make It or Break It’’, in which she played Summer Van Horne, one of the main characters, over the course of three years. Subsequently, she portrayed Stephanie Beck, the main character of ‘‘Let It Snow’’ in 2013, then starred as the title character in ‘‘Aurora Teagarden Mystery: A Bone to Pick’’ and played the same character in several other movies in the forthcoming period – ‘‘The Julius House: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery’’, ‘‘Dead Over Heels: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery’’ and ‘‘A Bundle of Trouble: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery’’. In 2016, she played D.J. Tanner-Fuller / D.J. Fuller-Fuller in the spinoff of ‘‘Full House’’, entitled ‘‘Fuller House’’, and most recently, in 2018 she portrayed Aurora in one more film, ‘‘Last Scene Alive: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery’’.

When it comes to her future projects, Candace will provide the voice of F.R.E.D.I. in the movie of the same title.

Besides being an actress, Cameron is also an author and has written three books including ‘‘Reshaping It All: Motivation for Physical and Spiritual Fitness’’ and ‘‘Balancing It All: My Story of Juggling Priorities and Purpose’’ in 2011 and 2014 respectively, supplementing her net worth somewhat.

When it comes to her private life, Cameron has been married to Valeri Bure since 1996, and the couple has a daughter and two sons.

Candace Helaine Cameron Quotes

  • Once I got my driver’s license everybody treated me like I was an adult.
  • My daughter’s dabbling in showbiz, and she’s done a few commercials. She’s auditioned for some movies and shows, so I’m letting her pursue that. I’m OK with it.
  • I really do feel like I’m in better shape and look better now – even after having three kids – than I did before.
  • It wasn’t always easy at times, having grown up on television and being in the entertainment industry.
  • When I was 16, I filmed an episode of ‘Full House’ where my family goes to Disney World. I remember putting on baggy overalls just to hide my stomach. When I watched it, I was pretty disappointed and bummed out looking at myself… I didn’t feel good about my own body.
  • The cool thing about my profession is that I can do it until the day I die.
  • Once you find love, you find it. There isn’t an age on love.
  • I figure this is my time – to relax, be with my family and have a normal life.
  • The way I was raised, family was always the most important. When I had our first daughter, Natasha, I knew that’s what I wanted to do.
  • It was in the ’80s, so I guess big hair and high bangs. And I had so many gummy bracelets! While we were doing ‘Full House,’ we were like, ‘You know, in 10 years, we’re going to look back on this and think this is horrible.’ But everyone looked like that!
  • Almost everyone thinks they are a good person, but the question you should be asking is, am I good enough to go to Heaven? How would you know?
  • It’s amazing. My kids have grown me in ways I never knew possible. The patience I’ve received and the love I get from them is just amazing.
  • My mom and dad – they were always there. They were always on the set. They focused on our family life. The entertainment business wasn’t the end-all. They weren’t out to get the next big paycheck or the next big movie. It was about ‘What can we do as a family.’
  • I’m a mom, so I have to be comfortable. Jeans are a staple – I have way too many in my closet! It’s warm in Florida, so I wear jeans and a tank top every day. I love my True Religions, my Rich and Skinny, and Citizens of Humanity. But I also love getting dressed up!
  • I did a lot of my school on set. Some years I went to a private school for a couple of hours, and then I’d always finish up with a tutor. I couldn’t do full days, but I tried to maintain my friendships and some normalcy while doing a show.
  • I had no style when I was 17! I look at teenagers now and say, ‘I wish I’d looked like them when I was that age.’ I had no style whatsoever, but style also wasn’t as prominent as it is today. I was just very laid back, usually wearing jeans and tank tops and flip flops.
  • I’m so happy and thankful I made it a point be a stay-at-home mom.
  • Our marriage is grounded in the word of God. That’s really it. God is the core of our marriage, and the foundation and the blueprint for it is how we live, and being open and honest and communicating, but ultimately doing what pleases God, and not in a selfish manner.
  • We turn off the TV, video games and computer – except for homework – during the week. The TV’s reserved for Friday night, Saturday and Sunday just because that’s the time to do homework, and it makes it that much less chaotic in our house.
