Camilla Luddington Wiki Biography
Camilla Luddington, born on the 15th of December, 1983, is an English actress who became famous for her role in the television movie “William & Kate: The Movie”, and the television series “Grey’s Anatomy.”
So how much is Luddington’s net worth? As of early 2018, based on authoritative sources it is reported to be $1.3 million acquired from her over a decade long years working as an actress.
Born in Ascot, Berkshire in England, Luddington is the daughter of Martin and Mary Luddington. Raised with three siblings. She attended The American School at Thorpe in Surrey, and also spent some time studying at Westwood High School when she moved to Austin, Texas as a teenager. She then attended Susquehanna University in Pennsylvania, but only for six months before transferring to New York Film Academy. After her studies, she moved back home to England for a while before relocating to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting.
Luddington’s career started in 2007, with a small role in the movie “A Couple of White Chicks at the Hairdresser”, which was followed by an appearance in the movie “Behaving Badly”, playing a flight attendant. In 2010, she played Jane Bennet in the short film “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: Dawn of the Dreadfuls”, and Brooke in another short film – “The Filming of Shakey Willis”. Her early years as an actress helped establish her career as well as her net worth.
Luddington also started building a career on television, in 2010 appearing in “The Forgotten”, “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” and “Days of Our Lives.” It was in 2011 that she finally got some well-deserved recognition, when she played Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton in the television movie “William & Kate: The Movie”, a performance which received a positive response from critics, then continued on television, appearing in “Friends with Benefits” and “Serving Time.” In 2012 she finally acquired a recurring role, appearing in 10 episodes of the series “Californication”, and later in six episodes of “True Blood”, playing the role of Claudette. It was also in 2012 when Luddington was cast to join the medical drama “Grey’s Anatomy”, playing the role of Dr. Josephine Wilson and later becoming a main character in the show. Her career in television also tremendously helped her income.
Additionally, in 2013 Luddington worked on a videogame, playing Lara Croft in “Tomb Raider: The Final Hours – A Story of Survival”, and also lent her voice in the video game “Infinite Crisis”, and once again for Tomb Raider’s sequel “Rise of the Tomb Raider in 2015. Her participation in video games also helped to increase her wealth.
Today, Camilla is still active as an actress; she is still part of “Grey’s Anatomy”, and recently appeared in the movie “The Healer”, so her net worth is certainly still rising.
In terms of her personal life, Luddington is engaged to fellow actor Matthew Alan. In 2017, they welcomed their daughter Hayden Alan.
