Cam’ron then began his solo career and released his debut album in 1998 called “Confessions of Fire”. The album soon became popular and added a lot to Cam’ron’s net worth.

In 2000 Cam’ron released his second album, during the making of which he worked with Tommy Mottola. The album was entitled “S.D.E.” which meant “Sports, Drugs & Entertainment”.
