Bryan Adams Wiki Biography
Bryan Guy Adams was born on 5 November 1959, in Kingston, Ontario Canada, of British descent, and is famous as a musician, singer and songwriter, record producer, photographer, as well as film score composer, perhaps best known for his song “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You” which topped the UK Singles Chart for 16 consecutive weeks in 1991.
So how rich is Bryan Adams? Sources estimate Bryan’s net worth to be $65 million, undoubtedly the majority of his wealth coming from his singing career.
Bryan Adams’ education was somewhat disjointed, as his father was an officer in the Canadian Army, and was stationed in various European cities. Adams’ career began at the age of 14 when he started attending local auditions and landed a job as a singer with several local bands. In 1980, at the age of 18, Bryan Adams released his self-entitled debut album, which spawned three singles and did fairly well in Canada. This album was the first major step in Adams’ quest to become a well-known singer.
Adams’ rise to fame began in 1983 with the release of his third studio album “Cuts Like Knife”. The album received most commercial success in Canada and the United States, but was not as profitable abroad. “Cuts Like Knife” reached #48 on the Top 100 Canadian Albums and introduced Adams to a wider public. With the release of 11 successful studio albums so far, Bryan Adams has become one of the most successful rock stars in the music industry.
Several years later Adams released “Cuts Like Knife” with three singles reaching the Billboard 100 charts. Following the success of the album, Adams came out with “Reckless”, his fourth studio work, which is still considered to be one of Adams’ best albums to date. The album produced six singles, all of which made it to the Top 15 on the US Billboard 100 chart, and sold over five million copies in the United States alone. Even though the album was released in 1984, its relevance nowadays is represented by the release of the 30th Anniversary edition of the album with previously unheard songs, as well as a worldwide tour called “Reckless 30th Anniversary Tour”. Adams continued his successful career with “Waking Up the Neighbors”, a sixth studio album, the success of which spread around the world. The album peaked at #6 in the US, and reached #1 in both Germany and the UK. In addition to that, one of the singles was the aforementioned “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You”, and featured in the box office film hit with Kevin Costner, Alan Rickman and Morgan Freeman called “Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves”.
In all, Bryan Adams has released 11 studio and seven live albums, plus six compilation albums, all successful and which have contributed significantly to his net worth. An inductee into the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, as well as a nominee for 15 Grammy Awards, Brian Adams is a truly remarkable musician.
In addition to his solo, as well as collaborative musical projects, Bryan Adams is also a well-known photographer. Adams has published several photography books and has worked with such fellow artists as Lenny Kravitz, Lindsay Lohan, Moby, Billy Idol, Lana Del Rey and many others.
In his personal life, Bryan Adams and his partner since 2004 Alicia Grimaldi – who is also a trustee and co-founder of his namesake foundation – had their first daughter in 2011, and their second daughter in 2013. Adams has been vegan since the age of 29, originally for health reasons, but is also an advocate for animal rights.

Bryan Adams Quotes
- [on Bob Geldof] He should be made a saint!
- I wish I could write the songs I wrote back when I was twenty-two. But I don’t know how to do that anymore. I write the songs I write now that I’m fifty-two. It’s a different thing.
- There’s not an instruction manual on how to deal with success, so you just have to rely on having great friends and a good team.
- I never took a grant or borrowed a penny from anybody. It was partially because I didn’t really know how to do that, but secondly, my pride never would have allowed me to. In the beginning it was about doing it the right way, on the merits of the music.
- I got in trouble with the police, and that was a rude awakening. That was it. I’d seen the bottom of the pit, and it was time to scrape myself out of it.
- I always knew I’d be in music in some sort of capacity. I didn’t know if I’d be successful at it, but I knew I’d be doing something in it. Maybe get a job in a record store. Maybe even play in a band. I never got into this to be a star.

- Is a vegan.
- Bryan, Robert John Lange and Michael Kamen wrote a song for the comedy film 101 Dalmatians (1996). However, the song was not used in the film, but is available on Adams’ album “18 Til I Die”.
