Bruce Kulick Wiki Biography

Bruce Howard Kulick was born on the 12th December 1953, in Brooklyn, New York City USA, and is a guitarist best known to the world for being the lead guitarist of the rock band Kiss, and the only member of the famous band not to wear makeup on stage. His career started in the late 1960s.

Have you ever wondered how rich Bruce Kulick is, as of early 2017? According to authoritative sources it has been estimated that Kulick’s net worth is as high as $15 million, an amount earned largely through his successful career as a musician. Apart from Kiss, Bruce has played in several other bands, including Union, and has released three solo albums, “Audio Dog” (2001), “Transformer” (2003) and “BK3” (2010), the sales of which also improved his wealth.

Other than the facts that Kulick is Jewish and that he went to Hebrew School, little is known about his childhood and growing up. In the early ‘70s, Bruce became a touring member for the famous rock musician Meat Loaf, following him on his tour in support of the latter’s debut album “Bat Out of Hell”. He then started his own band called BlackJack, which featured Michael Bolton as the singer. Before their disbandment, they released two studio albums “Blackjack” (1979), and “Worlds Apart” (1980), after which Kulick played for several acts before joining Kiss, firstly as a touring memberreplacing St. John after he was diagnosed with Reiter’s Syndrome. Bruce was the lead guitarist for Kiss from 1984 until 1996, and oversaw releases of such successful albums as “Animalize” (1984) which achieved platinum status in US and Canada, then “Asylum” (1985), “Crazy Nights” (1987) – which also achieved platinum status in the US and Canada, and “Revenge” (1992), which was one of their best charted albums, reaching No. 6 on the Billboard 200 chart, and boosting Bruce’s net worth.

After his stint with Kiss ended, Bruce formed the band Union with John Corabi, Jamie Hunting and Brent Fritz, and released three albums, “Union” (1998), “Live in the Galaxy” (1999), and “The Blue Room” (2000). Although they never officially announced their disbandment, all musicians went separate ways, and so far haven’t re-united, as such bands are noted for doing.

Since 2000, he has been a touring member of the rock band Grand Funk Railroad, which has been active since the late ‘60s. Formed by Mark Farmer, Terry Knight and Don Brewer, and with last album released in the early ‘80s, Don now remains as the only original member.

During his career, Bruce has collaborated with numerous other musicians on their songs and albums, including Don Johnson, Ronnie Spector, Graham Bonnet, Eric Carr, Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley and many others, which also improved his wealth.

Regarding his personal life, Bruce was married to Cristina Walker from 1989 to 1996, and has been married to Lisa Lane since 2014.
