Brook Robert Lopez is a professional basketball player born on 1st April 1988 in North Hollywood, California USA, and currently plays for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Prior to his contract with the Lakers, he played for the New Jersey/Brooklyn Nets, after being selected in the 2008 NBA draft.

However, just a month later, Lopez re-signed with the Nets to a three year deal. Lopez became the team’s all-time leader in blocked shots with 863, passing George Johnson’s record, and also the second player in Net’s history to score 10.000 points with the team.
