Bradley George Thor, born on the 21st of August 1969, is an American author who became famous for his thriller, suspense, and spy-themed novels. Some of his most famous works include “The First Commandment”, “Black List”, “Code of Conduct”, “The Apostle” and “The Last Patriot” that was nominated for the “Best Thriller of the Year” book award by the International Thriller Writer Association.

So how much is Thor’s net worth? As of mid-2017, based on authoritative sources it is reported to be $8 million acquired largely from his years working as a novelist, and occasional key-note addresses and guest commentary at conferences and on television shows.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Thor attended Sacred Heart Schools and Francis W. Parker School in Chicago during his early years of education. He went on to pursue a degree in creative writing at the University of Southern California, and graduated cum laude.

Thor’s career started in television, in which he created, produced, wrote, and hosted the show “Traveling Lite”. The travel oriented show provided a guide on travelling through European cities without breaking the bank, and was aired on national public television. The show lasted from 1995 to 1999 and won couple of awards, helping his career and his net worth.

After the success of “Traveling Lite”, Thor then focused on writing novels. His debut work was released in 2002 entitled “The Lions of Lucerne”. The success of his first novel was then followed by his other equally successful books including “Path of the Assassin”, “State of The Union”, “Blowback”, “Foreign Influence”, “The Athena Project” and “Hidden Order” to name a few. The sales of his book made him a New York Times Bestseller Author, and tremendously increased his wealth.

Thor gained fame for his thriller and suspense-themed novels, but then became known for immersing himself in military operations, and even shadowed a black ops team in Afghanistan as part of his research for his book “The Apostle”. His expertise also led him to become a part of the Department of Homeland Security’s Analytical Red Cell Unit, a program known to seek input from creative thinkers that live outside Washington, D.C., so that unusual terrorist scenarios can be planned for.

Other than writing books, Thor has also appeared in multiple television shows to give his opinion regarding the threats that the world faces, events that are similar to his novels. Some of the networks that he has appeared on include CNN, ABC, MSNBC, PBS, NBC, and the Fox News Channel, he also often appears on the syndicated Glen Beck radio show, discussing scenarios.

Thor also often serves as a keynote speaker for conferences in Young America’s Foundation and National Tactical Officers Association. All his other endeavours have also helped his career and net worth.

Thor received recognition for his novel “The Last Patriot” by being nominated for “Best Thriller of the Year” by the International Thriller Writers Association. One of his books entitled “Blowback” was also included in the “100 Best Ever Killer Thrillers” list voted by the National Public Radio listeners.

Today, Thor is still active as a novelist with his most recent novel entitled “Use of Force” to come out in June 2017.
