What is more, he was involved in the St. Louis Walk of Fame. Clearly Costas is one of the best sportscasters and there is no doubt that he will maintain his popularity and continue his career.

So how rich is Bob Costas? Sources estimate that Costas’ net worth is $45 million, of course mainly gained during his long and successful career as a sportscaster. In addition to this, Bob’s other activities also have added to his net worth. Although Bob is now 63 years old, he still continues his career, so there is a high chance that his net worth will become higher. Hopefully, his fans will be able to see him hosting new shows and participating in other projects.

Bob Costas attended at Commack High School South and later decided to study communications at the Syracuse University. This is where is career began, as he started working as an announcer for one of the hockey teams. Soon he started working at the radio station called “KMOX”, where he was one of the hosts of the program entitled “Open Line”. This was the time when Bob Costas’ net worth began growing, so he dropped out of university, although later awarded an honorary degree. In 1980 Bob became a part of the “NBC Sports”, and his work there soon became one of the main sources of his net worth. He had to coomentate and analyse different sports events, which included boxing, golf, basketball, baseball and others.

Another very important step in his career was that he hosted many Olympic broadcasts, including summer Olympics in Sydney in 2000, Athens in 2004, London in 2012, and winter Olympics in Sochi in 2014. These have all had a huge impact on the growth of Bob’s net worth.

During his career, Bob has also hosted several of his own shows. His recent show is called “Costas Tonight”. It also adds to Bob’s net worth. In addition to this, Bob has appeared on several movies. Some of them include “The Scout”, “BASEketball”, “Pootie Tang” and others. These appearances made Costas’ net wor th evenhigher. Let’s hope that he will be able to continue his career for a long time.

If to talk about Bob’s personal life, it can be said that Bob was married twice. His first wife was Carole Randall Krummenacher; unfortunately, they divorced in 2001, but have two children. Three years later, Bob married Jill Sutton. Finally, Bob Costas is one of the richest and most successful sportscasters. He has been working in this field for a very long time, so he knows how to do things right. If he continues doing this, his net worth can only grow.
