He won numerous competitions prior to joining off road racing and Monster Energy, but as he continues his career, it is expected that his wealth will also continue to increase.
BJ started his interest in racing at a young age, while playing the video game entitled “Ivan Ironman Stewart’s Super Off Road”. His passion for racing started to develop after watching the Baja 1000 broadcast coverage of the longest North American off-road race. His first experience driving was with a VW-powered two-seater Chenowith, after which he decided to pursue a career in racing. His sister bought him a car, and soon he joined the SCORE championship race series, initially placing sixth, and would later win the race entitled “Baja in Havasu”. He then bought a Toyota-powered Bunderson 10 car, which he modified into a class 1 car, and placed highly in several races before winning the Buffalo Bills 400 race. His net worth started to increase as he entered the Trophy Truck class, buying his own Porter Trophy Truck, entering the Primm 300.
In 2003, Baldwin would join the Baja 1000 in which he would finish fifth, even after an incident while driving. He became friends with legend Larry Ragland who helped him to improve his off road driving skills. He would then get second place at the “Best in The Desert Vegas to Reno” race. He transitioned to an SPD Trophy Truck a few years, later which helped him with the 2006 SCORE Laughlin Desert Challenge. He continued producing good performances, and had multiple top 10 finishes in the year, and also won the 2006 SCORE Championship. The following year, he would win the SCORE Laughlin Desert Challenge, becoming the first driver to win the race in two consecutive years.
