Andrea Joy “A. J.” Cook was born on 22 July 1978, in Oshawa, Ontario Canada, and is an actress probably best known for her role as Agent Jennifer Jareau in the long-running TV series “Criminal Minds”. Other than that, she’s also been in major films such as “Final Destination 2” and “Out Cold”. All of her efforts have helped put her net worth to where it is now.

In the same year, her popularity would increase, when she was given the opportunity to be a part of the TV series “Higher Ground” alongside Hayden Christensen, in which she portrayed a teenage girl suffering from heartache and abuse. The series only lasted a year, but she would soon appear in another television film – “The Spiral Staircase” – before going on and appearing multiple films including “Ripper”, “Final Destination 2”, “Out Cold” and “I’m Reed Fish”. She has also been seen in television shows such as “Tru Calling” and “Dead Like Me”. One of the roles she’s best known for came in 2005 when she was cast in what was to be a long-running TV series “Criminal Minds”. She was a regular of the show for five seasons until she was cut in the sixth season, but soon returned to finish her character’s story line after the demands of fans. After that pivotal season, she was signed to be a part of the show for two more seasons.

Aside from film and television, it is known that Cook has been a spokeswoman for Proactiv since 2013. She’s been also featured in various publications, most notably Maxim magazine where she was also ranked as a part of the Maxim “Hot 100 2014” list.

For her personal life, it is known that she married long-time boyfriend Nathan Anderson during 2001, and they have two sons. They reportedly met at Utah Valley University during film class and now reside in Los Angeles, California. Cook is also a part of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, better known as the Mormons. According to her, she’s also best friends with actress Meghan Ory. She’s also collaborated with various groups and organizations for philanthropic work.
