André Filipe Tavares Gomes was born on 30th July 1993, in Grijó, Porto, Portugal and is a professional football player, currently performing as a midfielder in the Football Club Barcelona in the Primera Division of Spain. Since 2014, he has also been a member of the Portuguese national team, with which he won the European championship in 2016.
