From an early age, Alycia was drawn to performing arts; she was first focused on music, studying classical percussion for ten years, while also starting her acting career at the age of eight.
She went to Newtown High School of the Performing Arts, from which she matriculated in 2011, but not before she teamed up with 40 other musicians of the Berlin Philharmonic to compose a piece in a two-week program. Alycia was awarded the Premier’s award after compiling a score of 90 in High-School Certificate exams for just six subjects.
Alycia’s professional career started in 2003 with the lead role of Elsie in the drama film “Martha’s New Coat”, directed by Rachel Ward. She continued with minor roles in such TV series as “McLeod’s Daughters” in 2006, while in 2008 Alycia portrayed Cassie in the television film “Dream Life”. She made her breakthrough in 2014 with several successful roles, including as Kaitlyn in the action thriller “Into the Storm”, starring Richard Armitage, Sarah Wayne Callies and Matt Walsh, then the lead role as Mary in the horror-thriller “The Devil’s Hand”, starring next to Rufus Sewell and Adelaide Kane, while she was also chosen for the part of Lexa in the TV sci-fi drama series “The 100” (2014-2016), all of which increased her net worth to a large degree.
Alycia was youngest cast member of the documentary “Next Stop Hollywood”, and the following year was chosen for the part of Alicia, the lead protagonist in the TV drama series “Fear the Walking Dead”, a spin-off of the popular “Walking Dead” series, further increasing her net worth. Alycia appeared in 38 episodes of the show, for which she earned a Saturn Award nomination in the category of Best Performance by a Younger Actor in a Television Series.
Most recently, she starred in the comedy film “Liked” (2017) and is currently working on the thriller film “A Violent Separation”, with such actors as Brenton Thwaites and Francesca Eastwood, scheduled for release late in 2018.
When it comes to her personal life, most of her intimate details remain successfully hidden from the public eyes, though according to sources, Alycia was in a relationship with a guy named Marcus Castrus, which lasted from her high school years until 2017.
