Have you ever wondered how rich Alonzo Bodden is, as of early 2017? According to authoritative sources, it has been estimated that Bodden’s net worth is as high as $800,000, an amount earned largely through his successful career in the entertainment industry.
Alonzo is of mixed ancestry; his father is Honduran while his mother is African American. He has an older brother to whom he donated a kidney back in 2012.
Before becoming an entertainer, Alonzo worked for aircraft manufacturers McDonnell Douglas and Lockheed Martin in California. Alonzo’s career really began in the early 2000s thanks to his stand-up comedy routines. This led to an appearance in the documentary “Just for Laughs: Montreal Comedy Festival” in 2001, and the following year he featured alongside Dave Anthony, Ted Alexandro and Greg Behrendt in the USO Comedy Tour, while he was also Joe Rogan’s guest in “Late Friday”. He got his breakthrough in 2003 when he became the winner of the reality TV show “Last Comic Standing”, thanks to which he got the chance to show his talents on Comedy Central, and used every bit of it in the 2005 documentary he wrote. The same year he showcased another comedy routine, called “Alonzo Bodden: Tall, Dark, and Funny”, which was welcomed with rave reviews. Inspired by this success, Alonzo’s presence increased further and further on the comedy scene, and he featured in numerous comedy shows, such as “Just for Laughs” (2009), “The Jay Leno Show” (2010), then his own television film “Alonzo Bodden: Who’s Paying Attention” (2011), “Mind of a Man” (2014), and most recently “Alonzo Bodden: Historically Incorrect” (2016), among many others which only increased his net worth.
Alonzo also launched an acting career, making his debut in the TV series “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” back in 1996. However, until his career in comedy set off, he didn’t have any major roles. In 2003 he featured in the Adam Shankman’s comedy “Bringing Home Down”, starring Steve Martin, Queen Latifah and Eugene Levy. The following year he appeared in the romantic comedy “The Girl Next Door”, with Emile Hirsch, Nicholas Downs and Elisha Cuthbert in lead roles. In 2010 he starred in the fantasy comedy “Fudgy Wudgy Fudge Face”, while four years later he had a role in the Golden Globe Award winning drama TV series “Californication”, starring David Duchovny and Natascha McElhone, which only increased further his net worth.
Regarding his personal life, when it comes to the most intimate parts, they remain private – he is single and has never married. However, it is known that Alonzo is an avid motorcyclist and car enthusiast, owning numerous sports cars and bikes, including an e92 BMW M3 series, Triumph Rocket III, Ducati 1098, Ducati Multistrada among others.
