Alfred Enoch Wiki Biography

Alfred Lewis Enoch was born on the 2nd December 1988, in Westminster, London England, and is an actor best known to the world for his role as Dean Thomas in the Harry Potter films, and also as Wes Gibbins in the TV series “How to Get Away with Murder” (2014-2017), among other roles.

Have you ever wondered how rich Alfred Enoch is, as of late 2016? According to authoritative sources, it has been estimated that Alfred`s net worth is as high as $3 million, an amount earned through his successful career in the entertainment industry. Apart from working in front of cameras, Alfred has also shown his talents in theaters, which has improved his net worth further.

Alfred is the son of the famous English actor William Russell, and Balbina Gutierrez, who is his second wife. Alfred went to Westminster School, one of the most notable public schools in London, and after matriculation, he enrolled at Queen`s College, Oxford, from which he graduated with a BA degree in Portuguese and Spanish languages.

Alfred’s career began in his early teens, as when he was 13 he was selected for the role of Dean Thomas in the first of the “Harry Potter” films, along with a host of acting stars from whom he obviously learned a great deal, and which became enormous hits around the world. Alfred has subsequently appeared in seven of the eight films in the series, which have increased his net worth by a large margin.

After the success of the “Harry Potter”, Alfred stood out as a young and successful actor, but still remained focused on his education as well, Simultaneously, Alfred was honing his acting skills by working in the theater, appearing in such plays as “Coriolanus”, “Timon of Athens”, “Happy New Year”, “King Lear and “Antigone”, among others. He eventually returned to front the cameras, and since 2014 he has been portraying Wes Gibbins in the TV crime drama series “How to Get Away with Murder”, alongside Viola Davis and Billy Brown, which has also added a substantial amount to his net worth.

Most recently, in early 2016 Enoch was cast to play Edgar/Poor Tom in Shakespeare’s “King Lear”, a co-production of the Manchester Royal Exchange and Talawa Thetre Company, for which he has received critical acclaim for the strong physical characterisation he brought to the roles. His net worth has benefited too

Regarding his personal life, little is known about Alfred, as he tends to keep his most intimate details away from the public eye, and so far he has made a great job of it as there is no information on any relationships.

Alfred Enoch Quotes

  • When I was, like, 10, I decided it would look really cool, so I pretended I was British. And I’ve been doing that ever since.
  • I don’t think of myself as a trendy person at all, and if I’m anything, I’m probably contrarian.
  • I have not seen ‘Legally Blonde.’ I must be in the small, ever-dwindling minority on that one.
  • I think dead humans rising from their graves with little to no sense of who they were in their past lives to mindlessly roam the earth consigning others to the same fate would be a bit depressing.
  • I struggle with technology. I think it doesn’t like me because I think it knows I don’t like it.
  • I really love my work, so wherever it takes me, I’m happy to be.
  • Sometimes people are like, ‘Hey, you played Dean Thomas!’ and I’m like, ‘Wow, you actually know!’ It kind of shocks me because when I think about movies I love, and if I saw someone who essentially did what I did in Harry Potter, I probably wouldn’t recognize them walking down the street.
  • I love the Beatles. Now I know I’m a good few decades late on this one, but I’ve always been behind the curve.
  • I got told by pretty much everyone I knew that, if I’m going to be out in L.A., working, you need a car. So I was thinking, I’m going to try and not get a car, just because I’m a contrarian that way.
  • I have this strange notion that clothes should be fun.
  • By the time I was seven, I did a sonnet at Shakespeare’s Globe theatre for Shakespeare’s birthday because my dad had been at the first season of the Globe and was friends with the artistic director. Somehow, that lead to me doing a sonnet!
