Alexander Deleon Wiki Biography
Born Alexander Michael DeLeon on the 8th April 1989 in Las Vegas, Nevada USA, he is a musician, singer and songwriter, best known to the world as the frontman and lead singer of the pop-rock band The Cab, which he co-found with Cash Colligan in 2004. Since the formation, the band has released two studio albums “Whisper War” (2008), and “Symphony Soldier” (2012).
Have you ever wondered how rich Alexander DeLeon is, as of mid- 2017? According to authoritative sources, it has been estimated that DeLeon’s net worth is as high as $2 million, earned through his career as a musician, which has been active since the mid- 2000s.
Alexander grew up in Las Vegas and went to Liberty High School, located in Henderson, Nevada, where he met and befriended Cash Colligan. The two started a long-term music collaboration and after few demos were recorded and put on MySpace page, the two took a step further by bringing in a drummer, Alex Johnson. The trio played for some time and then brought in guitarist Paul Garcia, and Alex Marshall to officially form The Cab. They had their first show at The Alley in Las Vegas, and the following year the band received a contract offer by Olympus Records. Unfortunately, the band was soon waived by the record label, even before releasing any recorded material. Anyways, they made friends in the alternative rock scene, and Spencer Smith of Panic! at the Disco used his influence to bring The Cab to Decaydance Records in May 2007. The band then changed guitarist, as Garcia left the group and moved to Washington, and in his spot came Ian Crawford. The band released its debut album in 2008, entitled “Whisper War”, which peaked at No. 108 on the US Billboard 200 chart, but topped the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart, and remained on the No. 1 spot for the next 17 weeks.
Since then, the band has experienced troubling times, including frequent line-up changes with Alexander remaining the only constant member, while they also left Decaydence Records, but not prior to releasing their second album “Symphony Soldier”, which was a drastic improvement to their debut album, as the album reached No. 62 on the US Billboard 200 chart and received positive critiques. The band wasn’t signed to a label for more than one year and then received a recording contract from the Universal Republic, then Alexander and The Cab released an EP in 2014, entitled “Lock Me Up”, which reached No. 44 on the US Billboard 200 chart.
Since then, the band has remained active, however, Alexander has been more focused on his solo career, using the stage name Bohnes, releasing one song – “Guns and Roses”.
Aside from music, Alexander also launched a clothing line in 2013, under the name 42799, Be the Black Sheep. He got the inspiration for the clothing name line from his idol, Frank Sinatra; Sinatra’s mug shot number was 42799.
Regarding his personal life, Alexander has been in a relationship with model, Josephine Skriver, since 2013.
