Alex Kendrick was born on the 11th June 1970, in Athens, Georgia USA, and is a film writer, director, producer, and actor, best known for such movies as “Flywheel” (2003), “Courageous” (2011), and “War Room” (2015). In 2008, Kendrick made “Fireproof”, a romantic drama about a firefighter and his love experiment, which became the highest-grossing independent movie in 2008 with $33 million taken at the box office, which only increased his net worth. His latest two films are “Courageous” in 2011 and “War Room” in 2015. “Courageous” is a drama about four police officers and their ways of coping with a tragedy.
