Josh McDermitt grew up in a family with his five siblings, which moved to Los Angeles when he was a teenager His career had an amusing start – at a young age Josh used to call a local radio station in Phoenix, during the show “Tim & Willy”, which became his daily routine. Once when he called, he made fun of one of Billy Ray Cyrus’ songs, which is called “Achy Breaky Heart”. Changing voices, and calling every day, Josh became entertaining to listeners and also to producers of the show, and before long he got a call from the producers, offering him the chance to join them and become one of the producers. Josh, of course accepted the offer, and soon only the sky was the limit for his talents and career.
Thanks to his talents, Josh was able to launch his acting career with TV comedy movie “Rehab For Rejects” (2009), which was soon followed by a role in another comedy film, entitled “Madison Hall” in the same year. In 2010, his career took a little step back, as he only managed to appear in short videos such as “Iron Man 2 Table Read”, and “The Pitch”, but Josh didn`t surrender, and his next big role was in the TV series “Retired At 35” (2011-2013), assuming the role of Brandon, one of the main characters, which largely extended his net worth.
Also in 2012, Josh appeared in the film “Kings Of Van Nuys”, and was featured in a couple of episodes in the comedy TV series “Work It”.
His life completely changed in 2014, when he was cast as Dr. Eugene Porter in the highly popular TV series “The Walking Dead”. During his work on the series, his name became more and more popular, which enabled him to acquire new roles, and to expand his net worth. In 2015, he earned a lead role in the film which became highly appreciated with public, “Life In Color”, which also features Katherine Emmer in the lead role.
To speak further of his career in the entertainment industry, Josh is to appear in films “Odious” and “Middle Man”, which are scheduled for a 2016 release, and which will also add to his overall net worth.
