Rex Wayne Tillerson was born on 23 March 1952, in Wichita Falls, Texas USA, and is well-known in business as the Chairman, President and Chief Executive of the Exxon Mobil oil company. The company is one of the largest in the world, and as the leader of such an influential business, Forbes magazine ranks Rex Tillerson as the 20th most powerful person in the world.

Rex Tillerson was educated at Huntsville High School, and graduated from the University of Texas with a BSC in civil engineering in 1975.
