Catt Sadler was born on 24 August 1974, in Martinsville, Indiana USA, and is a journalist, television personality and actress, best known as a correspondent for “E! News”, and co-host for “E! News Weekend”.

Sadler was raised in an upper middle class family, along with her five siblings. She attended Martinsville High and then enrolled in Indiana University, majoring in journalism. Prior to her graduation, she began working at WXIN, the Fox affiliate in Indianapolis, as the host the segment “Youth Matters” on a weekly basis. To further her career, she moved to California a year later. And was employed as an entertainment reporter for KBWB/KNTV in San Francisco, and also hosted a nightly lifestyle segment called “The Bay Beat”, including travelling to such as Los Angeles and New York to conduct celebrity interviews. Aside from appearing on various E! projects, Sadler has also been involved in the television and film industry. At the age of 11 she appeared in the 1986 sports film “Hoosiers”, and went on to act in many school plays and musicals. She later appeared in several soap operas, such as “General Hospital” and “Night Shift”, and even played herself in the 2007 romantic comedy film “Knocked Up”, and appeared in The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus’ music video for the song “You Better Pray”, in which she played the dancing librarian. Sadler has been the brand champion for a skincare line Own Product, and the face of Murad Skincare, but also has her own production company called Love Bug Entertainment, Inc..For her dedication to journalism, Sadler has earned an Emmy Award, and has been named One of the Top 10 Next Broadcasters of Our Generation by Los Angeles Times.
When speaking about her private life, Sadler was married to Kyle Boyd from 2001 to 2008; they have two children together. After a brief engagement with Brett Jacobson in 2009, she married British film producer Rhys David Thomas in 2011, however, in 2016 she filed for divorce.
Sadler is a devoted philanthropist. She is the international spokesperson for the Women Like Us Foundation, an organization co-created by her mother who wrote a book of the same name. She is also the founder and President of a local chapter called Women Like Us Hollywood, aimed at empowering at-risk school girls in Los Angeles.
