Edward M. Zwick was born on October 8, 1952, in Chicago, Illinois, United States. After graduation from New Trier High School, he attended the private non-profit AFI Conservatory in Los Angeles and graduated in 1975. His first work as a film director was released in 1986 with a film entitled “About Last Night…” in which starred such popular artists as Rob Lowe and Demi Moore.
