Patrick Gibson Wiki Biography
Patrick Gibson was born on 19 April 1995 in Ireland, and is an actor, known for his roles in various television series, which include “The Tudors”, “The OA”, and “The Passing Bells”. He’s been active in the industry since 2009 and all of his efforts have helped put his net worth to where it is today.
How rich is Patrick Gibson? As of late-2017, sources estimate a net worth that is over $1 million, mostly earned through a successful career in acting. He has won a 2017 IFTA “Rising Star Award” thanks to his performances, also appeared in films, and as he continues his career, it is expected that his wealth will also continue to increase.
At the age of seven, Patrick found his first opportunity in a short film entitled “Bye Bye Inkhead”. This led him to start pursuing a career as an actor which would open up more opportunities for him to increase his net worth. In 2009, he appeared in three episodes of the series “The Tudors” in a small role; the series is an historical fiction show based on fact, set in the 1500s in England, and mostly focused on the reign of King Henry VIII. Two years later, Patrick found more work as a guest in “Primeval” and another role in “Neverland”, in which he appeared for two episodes – the miniseries was a part of the Syfy network and is a prequel to the story of “Peter Pan”. His next opportunity would come in 2014, when he had the role of Thomas in “The Passing Bells”, a British-Polish television series recounting the story of two teenagers who enlisted during World War I.
A year later, Gibson then found his first film work in “Cherry Tree” in which he played Brian Kelly, and in 2016 he was then cast in “The OA” to play Steve Winchell, produced by Netflix and which ran for eight episodes. The show is about a young woman who resurfaces after going missing for seven years, and which received a lot of critical praise for various aspects. Afterwards, Gibson’s next project would be “The White Princess” in which he plays Prince Richard in the BBC miniseries, featuring the marriage of King Henry VII and Elizabeth of York, which marked the end of the Wars of the Roses; however, political turmoil and tensions still arise within the families.
Patrick has also been cast to appear in two films in 2018 – “The Darkest Minds” which is based on the novel of the same name by Alexandra Bracken, and the other is “Tolkien”, which is based on the author of “The Hobbit” and “The Lord of the Rings”, J. R. R. Tolkien, and set to star Lily Collins and Nicolas Hoult as well. All of these continued opportunities will raise Patrick’s net worth even further.
For his personal life, not much is known about Gibson’s romantic relationships, if any – not even a rumour. He mentioned in an interview that he’s also very interested in fashion, and might pursue a fashion related project in the future.
