Carlos Coy was born on 5th October 1970, in Houston, Texas USA, of Mexican descent, and is a rapper whose stage name is derived from a place called South Park located in the city of Houston, which is where he grew up. In 2002, Coy was charged with the aggravated sexual assault of a minor, and sentenced to 45 years of imprisonment, but despite his incarceration, he continues his musical productions. South Park Mexican has been active in the entertainment industry since 1994.

In 2000, he signed his the label Dope House Records in the Universal Music Group, which then released three new albums composed by Coy: “Time is Money” (2000), “The Purity Album” (2000) and “Never Change” (2001). “The Purity Album” contains the single “You Know My Name”, which reached 99th on the Billboard Hot R & B / Hip-Hop Songs, and 31st on the Billboard Hot Rap Tracks. Subsequently, Coy gained no more real attention from the listeners. His album “Reveille Park” was marketed in 2002 by the label Dope House, and Dope House has also marketed two new albums that Coy has composed during his incarceration: “When Devils Strike” in 2006 and “The Last Chair Violinist” in 2008.

Regarding his trial for sexual assault, Houston police arrested Coy for aggravated sexual assault on a nine-year-old girl on 25th September 2001, but he was released. At the end of 2001, Harris County, Texas added a new charge to Coy after an incident with 13-year-old girl who later became pregnant and applied for support. Two additional charges followed in March 2002 for sexual assault on a 14-year-old girl. Coy’s lawsuit began on 8th May 2002 with a mother testifying to the abuse suffered by her nine-year-old daughter; the next day, the girl confirmed Coy’s touch while she slept. The jury convicted Coy of aggravated sexual assault on a minor, and he was sentenced to 45 years in prison, and fined $10,000. His release date is set on 8th April 2047, but parole is possible in 2024.
