Marko Jaric Wiki Biography
Marko Jaric was born on 12 October 1978, in Belgrade, Serbia (then) Yugoslavia, and is a retired professional basketball player, best known from playing as a shooting guard in the National Basketball Association (NBA), as well as the Yugoslavian national basketball team. He was active in the sport professionally from 1996 to 2011, but all of his efforts have helped put his net worth to where it is today.

In 1998, he played for the junior FR Yugoslavia national team, helping them to the gold medal during the 1998 FIBA League Europe Under-20 Championship.
Jaric then joined the 2000 NBA Draft, in which he was selected as the 30th overall pick by the Los Angeles Clippers. He played a total of three seasons with the Clippers, and during his time there his net worth started to increase, meantime also playing with the FR Yugoslavia national basketball team, which won gold medals at the 2001 EuroBasket as well as the 2002 FIBA World Championship – he continued to play with the team consistently in the next few years. In 2005, he was then traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves alongside Lionel Chambers for Sam Cassell and a first round pick, and played his next three seasons with the Timberwolves. In 2008, he was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies in an eight player deal which involved players such as O. J. Mayo and Kevin Love. He played one season with the Grizzlies, and then by mutual agreement started to seek a new team, and was eventually released. He then played with the club Real Madrid as a part of the Liga ACB, followed in 2011 by signing with the Italian team Montepaschi Siena, with which he played for one season. The following year he signed a contract with the NBA team, the Chicago Bulls, but he was waived shortly after. In 2013 he signed with the Brooklyn Nets which was also short lived, since he was waived after a month. He then decided to retire from playing professional basketball.
For his personal life, it is known that Marko married Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima in 2009 and they have two children. However, they divorced in 2016 after being separated for two years. Marko’s father is retired professional basketball player Srecko Jaric and he holds Greek citizenship.
