Jet Tilakamonkul was born on 6 February 1975, in Los Angeles, California USA, of Thai descent. Jet Tila is a third generation chef, television personality and restaurateur, best known from appearing in numerous food- related television shows, including “Chopped” and “Iron Chef America”, but all of his efforts have helped put his net worth to where it is today.

He is the chef of “The Charleston” and “Pakpao Thai” restaurants. Jet grew up in a Thai neighborhood in Los Angeles. During this time, he learned various Asian culinary methods from his grandmother. He also launched a dessert restaurant in Las Vegas called “Kuma Snow Cream”, and has opened the Las Vegas restaurant “Wazulu”, and becoame the culinary ambassador to Thailand.
