Maurice Compte was born in New Orleans, Louisiana USA in the 1970s, into a family of Cuban and American ancestry, and is an actor best known for appearing in the television show ‘’Narcos’’. Unfortunately, information about actor’s birth date is unknown.

In 2008, he played in ‘’Choke.Kick.Girl.’’, and provided the audio recording for the sequel of ‘’Saints Row’’, before joining the cast of ‘’Civil Strife’’ and starring in ‘’Tribal Negotiations’, plus guest-starring in ‘’Monk’’.
In the present decade, he made an appearance in ‘’CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’’, followed by ‘’Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner’’ playing Hakim, and adapting his movie ’’Choke.Kick.Girl.’’ for TV. In 2011, he worked on ‘’Breaking Bad’’, appearing in four episodes, and in 2012 he appeared in ‘’End of Watch’’ alongside Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Peña. One year later, he made guest appearances in ‘’Bones’’ and ‘’Criminal Minds’’. In 2014, he acted in ‘’Echo Park’’. The movie is focused on a couple finding their way out of unhappy lives and relationships.
As of the more recent past, he joined the cast of ‘’Narcos’’, portraying Horacio Carrillo, a Colombian police chief and commander of Search Bloc; he was one of the main characters in the first season of the show, and a recurring character in the second. In 2016, he worked on the television adaptation of ‘’From Dusk Till Dawn’’, and had another notable role in ‘’True Memoirs of an International Assassin’’. When it comes to his future projects, Maurice’s movie ‘’Den of Thieves’’ will hit the theatres in 2018. In conclusion, Compte has appeared in over 70 different movie and television projects.
