Michael Manning Weatherly Jr Wiki Biography
Michael Manning Weatherly Jr, was born on 8 July 1968, in New York City USA, of part-Irish ancestry, and is an acclaimed actor, musician, director and also a writer. He is best known for his roles in such television shows as “Dark Angel” and “NCIS”, and during his acting career, Michael has been nominated for such awards as Saturn, Teen Choice and Soap Opera Digest Awards.
So just how rich is Michael Weatherly, as of mid-2017? Authoritative sources estimate that Michael’s net worth is over $25 million, which has mainly come from his career as an actor which now spans almost 30 years. As it continues, it will probably lift his wealth a little further.
Weatherly was educated at Fairfield Country Day School, then matriculated from Brooks School in North Andover, Massachusetts. Weatherly enrolled at Boston University, Menlo College, and then attended American University but did not graduate, as he decided to drop his studies and become an actor. At that time, Michael was equally interested in music, and was even a member of a band, which actally didn’t have much success, but sespite this fact, Weatherly did not forget his passion for music, and subsequently created several songs for “NCIS’s” soundtrack, which added somewhat to Michael’s net worth.
Michael’s career as an actor began in “The Cosby Show”, in which he worked together with Sabrina Le Beauf, Lisa Bonet, Geoffrey Owens and many others. Later Michael appeared in “The City” and “Loving” playing the same role of Cooper from ’92 through ’96. Step by step Michael’s net worth became higher, and he was becoming better known and more popular. Michael was then cast in the drama series called “Significant Others” in 1998, along with actors including Jennifer Garner, Scott Bairstow, Gigi Rice, Eion Bailey and Elizabeth Mitchell . In the same year, Weatherly acted in the movie entitled “The Last Days of Disco” playing Hap, which contributed significantly to Michael’s net worth.
One of the most popular shows that Michael appeared in is “Dark Angel”, and for his role in this television series which stretched to 42 episodes, Weatherly gained a lot of acclaim and became more popular as an actor. In 2003 Michael became a part of another show that brought him fame, “NCIS”, and subsequently even directed one of the episodes of this show, showing that he’s rather more than an actor, which had an impact on the growth of Weatherly’s net worth too. Michael has appeared in more than 300 episodes of the show over 13 years – one of the longer running and perennially popular series on US TV, adding very steadily to Michael’s wealth.
Recently Michael has appeared as the title character in “Bull”, playing a psychology specialist who assists in legal cases; the second series is set to premiere in late 2017. Obviously Michael Weatherly’s talents are still in demand.
In his personal life, Michael married actress Amelia Heinle in 1995 and they had a son, but divorced after two years of marriage. He then became engaged to actress Jessica Alba in 2001, but they called it off in 2003. Michael has been married to Dr. Bojana Jankovic since 2009; they have a daughter and a son, and reside in Los Angeles, California.
