Lori Burns Allen Wiki Biography

Lori Burns Allen was born on the 11th August 1956, in Silver Spring, Maryland USA, and is a reality television personality, probably best recognized for her appearance as a host of the two reality TV series “Say Yes To The Dress: Atlanta” and “Say Yes To The Dress: Bridesmaids”, as a bridal designer and owner of boutique Bridals by Lori. Her career has been active since 1980.

So, have you ever wondered how rich Lori Allen is, as of late 2017? According to authoritative sources, it has been estimated that the total size of Lori’s net worth is over $19 million, accumulated not only through her successful career in the fashion industry, but also through her successful involvement in the entertainment industry.

Lori Allen spent her childhood in Atlanta, Georgia, where she attended high school. Upon matriculation, she enrolled at the Columbia College in South Carolina, from which she graduated with a Bachelors degree in Business. She then returned to Atlanta, in order to pursue her career as a bridal designer.

Speaking about her career, Lori launched her first boutique called Bridals by Lori in December of 1980 in Atlanta, Georgia, right after her graduation. Thanks to her accomplishments, the store was expanded to a three-story 25,000 square foot complex, which made it one of the largest bridal boutiques in the US. That led her to appear in various magazines about fashion all over the world, which certainly marked an increase of her net worth.

Lori’s career reached a whole new level in 2012, when she was selected to host the reality TV series entitled “Say Yes To The Dress: Atlanta” on the TLC channel, adding a considerable amount to her net worth. Later that year, the show was nominated for the third annual TASTE AWARDS in the category of Best City or Regional Program. During the same year, she was featured in the episode “Say Yes To The Cure: Lori’s Fight”, in which she talked about her battle with breast cancer. In the following year, Lori started appearing in its spin-off series entitled “Say Yes To The Dress: Bridesmaids” (2012-2013), which became one of the finalists for the fourth annual TASTE AWARDS in the category of Best Fashion or Design Program: Television. Over the next years, the show was also nominated for the similar awards in such categories as Best Reality Series: Fashion, Design or Home Décor, Best Single Topic Series, etc. Most recently, it was aired for season nine, increasing further her wealth.

When it comes to speak about her personal life, Lori Allen has been married to Eddie Allen since 1979; the couple has two children together. Her residence is still in Atlanta, Georgia. In her spare time, Lori is very active in the fight against breast cancer, and she collaborates with various organizations related to cancer awareness projects. She is also a member of Sunshine on a Ranney Day (SOARD), a non-profit organization which helps homeless children.
