Fionn Whitehead, born on the 18th of July 1997, is an English actor who rose to fame when starring in Christopher Nolan’s film “Dunkirk.”

So how much is Whitehead’s net worth? As of late 2017, based on authoritative sources it is reported to be close to $1 million, acquired from his years as an actor which only really began in 2016.

Born in Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, Whitehead is the son of Tim and Linda Whitehead. Being an artist runs in the family as his father was a famous British jazz musician. His siblings were into art as well with his sister Maisie as a dancer and aerialist-yoga enthusiast, and Hattie a folk artist. He also has a brother named Sonny.

At the age of 13, Whitehead was already in love with acting, joining the Orange Tree Theatre group. He also attended Orleans Park School and later on Richmond College, and concurrently he also joined the National Youth Theatre’s summer course.

After studying, in 2015 Whitehead initially worked in a coffee shop in Waterloo, London while auditioning on the weekends for roles as an actor. In 2016, he finally scored an acting gig, appearing in the series “HIM”. He also continued to be part of the Youth Theatre and appeared on stage in Glenn Waldron’s “Natives”. His early years as an actor helped establish his career and also established the basis of his net worth.

It was in 2017 that Whitehead’s career finally took off. He was cast in the Christopher Nolan film “Dunkirk”, actually playing the lead role of Tommy. The casting lasted several months, and he had to undergo a secretive auditioning process before landing the role. The historical biopic gained huge success both with the critics and at the box office, and so the reputation gained by the film also helped elevate Whitehead’s career, and potentially added considerably to his wealth.

“Dunkirk” opened new doors to Whitehead’s career, and led him to be cast in the film “The Children Act”, playing the role of Adam Henry along with Emma Thompson and Stanley Tucci in the cast.
