In 1991 he was selected for the role of Robert Evans in the TV series “I‘ll Fly Away” (1991-1993), and then in 1995 featured in the comedy “Smoke”, starring Harvey Keitel and William Hurt. These contributed steadily to his net worth.
However, Harold made his breakout in the Academy Award- nominated film “Romeo + Juliet” in 1996 as Mercutio, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes, and the same year appeared in the thriller “Blood and Wine”. By the end of the ‘90s, Harold had also appeared in the drama “Lulu on the Bridge” (1998), and comedy “The Best Man” (1999), which only increased his net worth, while in 1997 he started portraying Augustus Hill in the Primetime Emmy Award- nominated TV series “Oz” (1997-2003).
