In 2007, he struggled to play due to after effects from an injury to his left index finger, but shook it off and then made many impressive catches during the season. During the American League Championship Series, Crisp would be the person who made the catch to secure the team’s win en route to the World Series, and this would be the season that the Red Sox won the World Series as well.
