Colin Salmon Wiki Biography
Colin Salmon was born on the 6th December 1962, in Luton, Bedfordshire, England, and is an actor, probably best recognized for starring in the role of Charles Robinson in the James Bond film series, playing James ‘One’ Shade in the Resident Evil film series, and as Walter Steele in the TV series “Arrow”.
So, have you ever wondered how rich Colin Salmon is, as of late 2017? According to authoritative sources, it has been estimated that the total size of Colin’s net worth is over $6 million, accumulated through his successful involvement in the entertainment industry as a professional actor since 1992.
Colin Salmon was raised with his sister by his mother, Sylvia Ivy Brudenell Salmon, who worked as a nurse, spending childhood in hometown. There he went to Ramridge Primary School, after which he attended Ashcroft High School, where he was a member of the punk band Friction.
Colin’s professional acting career began in 1992, when he made his debut appearance in the role of DS Robert Oswalde in the TV series “Prime Suspect 2”, after which he had supporting roles in several TV series until 1994, when he made his debut film appearance in “Captives”. In the following year, he was chosen to portray Noah Hawksley in the TV series “Shine On Harvey Moon”, and he won the role of Chas in the film entitled “All Men Are Mortal”. By the end of the decade, he featured as Detective Charlie Nolan in the film “Deep Secrets” (1996), after which he won the role of Chief of Staff Charles Robinson in the James Bond film “Tomorrow Never Dies” (1997), which he reprised two more times – in the 1999 film “The World Is Not Enough” and in the film “Die Another Day” in 2002. All of these roles added a considerable amount to his net worth.
In 2002, Colin was cast as James ‘One’ Shade in the film “Resident Evil”, directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, and later that year he was selected to play Oonu in the TV series “Dinotopia”, until 2003. When the series ended, Colin was chosen for the role of Supt. Nathanial Johnson in another TV series “Keen Eddie” (2003-2004), so his career has only gone upwards as well as his net worth. In the following years, he appeared in such TV and film titles as “Bad Girls” (2006), playing Dr. Rowan Dunlop, “Party Animals” (2007), portraying Stephen Templeton, “Punisher: War Zone” (2008), in the role of Paul Budiansky, and “Law & Order: UK” (2009-2014), as Doug Greer.
To speak further about his career, Colin’s next major success came in 2012, when he reprised the role of James ‘One’ Shade in the film “Resident Evil: Retribution”, and he was also chosen to portray Walter Steele in the TV series “Arrow” and Rob Bennett in the TV series “Some Girls”, both of which lasted until 2014. Most recently, Colin starred in the role of Jarrod Sands in the TV series “Limitless” (2015-2016), playing in the 2016 film “Criminal”, alongside Ryan Reynolds and Kevin Costner, and as Old Ostrik in the film “Double Play” in 2017. He is currently filming “The Rapture” and his net worth will certainly be increased.
If to talk about his personal life, Colin Salmon has been married to Fiona Hawthrone since 1988; the couple has four children together. In his spare time, he collaborates with a number of charities, including the Richard House Children’s Hospice, The Prince’s Trust and the African-Carribean Leukemia Trust.
