Have you ever wondered how rich Ashley Johnson is? According to sources it has been estimated that Ashley’s net worth is over $3 million, as of May 2017, accumulated through a diverse acting career which she started as a child. Since she is still active, Ashley’s net worth continues to increase.
Johnson was the youngest child in the family, and is of Swedish, Danish, Scottish and Irish descent. As a child, her father’s job took their family to Michigan, where they settled in Franklin a suburb of Detroit. Her mother was an independent film producer, so Ashley was interested in film and acting from an early age, and began acting at the age of six when she landed a role in the TV sitcom “Growing Pains”, airing from 1990 to 1992. Her talent secured her numerous other roles, so by the time she was twelve, Ashley had already starred in eight TV series. Johnson reprised her role as Chrissy in “The Growing Pains Movie” and “Growing Pains: Return of the Seavers”, and in the same period she appeared in the “Phenom” series (1993-94) and the 1994 sitcom “All-American Girl”; however, both only lasted for only one season. In 2000 she starred next to actor Mel Gibson as his character’s daughter in the comedy “What Women Want”. Later she landed a regular role in the drama series “Dirt”, and a year later in season finale of “Dollhouse”.
Some of her more recent activities include roles in “The Avengers”(2012), and she has been playing an FBI forensic specialist in the ABC drama series “Blindspot”.
Exceptionally talented, Ashley has built a notable career as a voice actress as well, having voiced characters in several movies, including the cartoon movie “The First Snow of Winter”(1998), the Walt Disney TV animated series “Recess”, animated series “Teen Titans”, “Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!” and “Ben 10: Alien Force”. She also co-starred in the Play Station exclusive “The Last of Us” as Ellie, which brought her a BAFTA award for Best Performer and a VGX Award for Best Voice Actress.
When it comes to her private life, since 2012, Johnson has been dating writer, storyteller, poet and singer Brian Wayne Foste-Ashley, She is also a musical person, and studied violin and piano at the International School of Music, and in addition, she plays cello and guitar. Ashley co-runs the “Infinity Pictures” photography company with her friend, Mila Shah. Her older siblings are also engaged in the entertainment industry; her sister Haylie Johnson is an actress, best known for her role on “Kids Incorporated”, and her brother Chris worked on the TV show “The District”.
