Lester Holt is a Marin County, California-born American journalist and anchor best known from the weekend edition of NBCs “Today” and “Nightly News”. He is also an anchor for NBCs “Dateline”. Born on 8 March 1959, Holt shares Jamaican origin from his mother and Indian and Scottish origin from his father.
