Desariee Starr Compton Wiki Biography
Scout Taylor-Compton was born on 21 February 1989 in Long Beach, California USA, of part-Mexican ancestry through her mother, and as Desairee Starr-Compton is an actress best known for her appearances in ‘’Halloween’’ as Laurie Strode and Lita Ford in ‘’The Runaways’’.
So just how rich is Scout Taylor-Compton as of mid-2017? Authoritative sources report that Compton’s net worth is as high as $2 million, her wealth is accumulated from her almost two decades long career which began in the late ‘90s.
Scout debuted with a role in ‘’A.W.O.L.’’ playing alongside David Morse. In the forthcoming years, she appeared in several more films, but went on to play in television shows as well as on the silver screen. Her most acknowledged TV show appearances include roles in ‘’Ally McBeal’’, ‘’ER’’ and ‘’Fraiser’’, and from early in her career also appeared in several Jay Leno skits among many other acknowledged appearances. Her acting career was at its development at that time and Scout had a lot on her plate. She went on to portray the title character in the play ‘’Annie Warbucks’’ in November 2000, and star in the play based on the movie ‘’Footloose’’ with the same title shortly afterwards, proving that she could act not only in movies and television shows, but in theatre as well. She had another notable role in thea television show ‘’The Gilmore Girls’’, in which she portrayed Clara Forrester, a recurring character. Her acting skills were up to scratch, as she was nominated for “Best Performance in a TV Series – Recurring Young Actress”. Her net worth was now well set.
During this period of time, Scout provided the voice-over for several teenage films, too, and in the following years she appeared in a variety of comedy movies as well. However, she made her big Hollywood breakthrough as Farrah James in ‘’Sleepover’’, a film well received by the critics as well as the audience, and Compton’s acting skills gained her the attention of the media, and so she went on to appear as a guest star in several TV shows and movies. The highlight of this era was Scout’s starring role in ‘’Tomorrow is Today’’, a 2006 drama romance movie, again critically praised and winning several awards, with Compton’s acting skills marked as notable.
In the upcoming period, Scout turned to horror genre, appearing in two of the ‘’Halloween’’ Rob Zombie re-makes. In the same fashion, she starred in ‘’April Fool’s Day’’ in 2007, however, having finished this project, she stated that she wanted to avoid the horror genre for a certain period of time. In 2010 she appeared in ‘’The Runaways”, portraying one of the most successful ‘70s singers, Lita Ford. As of the more recent past, Compton has appeared as a guest star in numerous television shows, and made a notable appearance in a recurring role in ‘’Nashville’’.
Scout returned to the horror genre in 2017, in “Edge of Insanity”, and is currently filming “The Lumer Baron”, set for a 2018 release. She has been involved in over 30 movie and over 20 television titles.
In her personal life, Scout stirred a lot of drama when she ran away from home at the age of 16.
She was dating singer Andy Biersack for five years, and they finally separated in 2011, with the singer releasing the song called ‘’The Mortician’s Daughter’’ about her. In the forthcoming period, she dated American actor and singer Samuel Larsen, whom she stayed for the next two years. Apparently she is still single.
