Antwan DeRay Davis was born on the 5th August 1968, in Chicago, Illinois USA. The world knows him as the comedian DeRay Davis, and during his career, he has won several awards, including the Comedy Central Laugh Riot Competition. Adding to his net worth and fame, he has also extended his talents to acting, as he has featured in several movies, such as “21 Jump Street” (2012), “G. I. Joe: Retaliation” (2013) among others. He has been an active member of the entertainment industry since 2002.

Have you ever wondered how rich DeRay Davis is? According to sources, it is estimated that Davis` total net worth is $1.5 million, an amount earned through his successful career in the entertainment industry.

Davis` childhood was hard, as with his family he grew up in the housing projects of Chicago. However, he found his solace in comedy, and in his teen years began to participate in Chicago`s comedy clubs and soon build-up a name for himself. Soon he made a breakthrough into the comedy scene by performing in the Laffapalooza Festival in Atlanta, Georgia. After that, he made a move forward by winning the Comedy Central Laugh Riot Competition and earning a spot on tour with Cedric the Entertainer. This was the start of building his net worth.

However, after his success in comedy, he changed his field of work, as he dived into the world of acting. His first appearance on the big screen was in the film entitled “Barbershop” (2002). With the success of this film, Davis` net worth increased, and he also appeared in the sequel, “Barbershop 2: Back In Business”(2004). During the 2000s, he became one of the main cast of several Hollywood comedy films. In 2006, he appeared in the film entitled “School For Scoundrels”, alongside Billy Bob Thornton; in 2007 he was featured in the film “License To Wed” together with Robin Williams and Mandy Moore. In 2009 he was cast in the films “Imagine That” with Eddie Murphy and “Semi-Pro” with Will Ferrell. He continued to appear in films with a tremendous success, which became the main source of his net worth, with his biggest roles so far in the films “21 Jump Street” (2012) and “G. I. Joe: Retaliation” (2013).

Adding to Davis’ net worth and popularity as well, since his debut in Hollywood, he has also appeared in a number of TV series. His most notable appearances are the ones in “My Wife And Kids”(2002-2003), “Reno 911!”(2005-2007), “The Boondocks”(2007-2010), and “Empire”(2015).

His latest ventures in the entertainment industry include appearances in the films “Wild For The Night”, “Meet The Blacks” and “Grow House”, which are scheduled for release in 2015, and are currently in post-production.

Overall, his career is rather successful, as he has appeared in over 40 film and TV productions; undoubtedly his total net worth will continue to grow.

When it comes to his personal life, Davis has been known to the world as a womanizer. Recently he had stated in a radio interview, that he currently lives with his two girlfriends, however, he did not want to reveal their identity (apparently Daphne Joy and Claudia Jordan). Furthermore, he has a daughter from one of his previous relationships.
