Steve Davis was born on 22 August 1957, in Plumstead, London, England, and a former professional snooker player, best known as a six-time World Champion.

So just how wealthy is Steve Davis? Sources state that Davis has acquired a wealth of over $10 million, as of early 2017, accumulated largely during his career in snooker from 1978-2014. His involvement in showbiz and his numerous books have also contributed to his fortune.

Davis was taught to play snooker by his father when he was 12 years old. At 18 he started to compete around the country, winning the English Under-19 Billiards Championship in 1976. Two years later he won the Pontin’s Spring Open, defending his title the following year. He went on to make his World Championship debut in 1979.

In 1980 Davis won his first UK Championship, and the following year saw him winning the Classic, the International Masters and English Professional Championship, and then the World Championship title; this triumph boosted his popularity and considerably elevated his net worth.
