Have you ever wondered how rich Ana Gasteyer is, as of mid- 2017? According to authoritative sources, it has been estimated that Gasteyer’s net worth is as high as $2 million, an amount earned through her successful career as an actress. Aside from film and TV roles, Ana has featured in numerous stage productions, including “Wicked” (2005), “The Threepenny Opera” (2006), “The Royal Family” (2009), and many others, which have also improved her wealth.

Ana is the daughter of Phil Gasteyer who was a lobbyist and the mayor of Corrales, New Mexico, and his wife Mariana Roumell-Gasteyer, and is of part-Romanian and Greek ancestry, She was educated at Sidwell Friends School, and after matriculation enrolled at Northwestern University School of Communication, majoring in voice and theater.

Ana started her career with the comedy sketch group The Groundlings, based in Los Angeles, and then started auditioning for screen roles, and landed a few minor roles in such TV series as “Seinfeld” (1995), and “Party of Five” (1996) among others, before she was brought into the “Saturday Night Live” cast. She stayed on the show until 2002, creating numerous popular characters, such as Bobbie Mohan-Culp, a high school music teacher, then radio host Margaret Jo McCullen, while she also did several impressions of celebrities, most notable being of Martha Stewart, Celine Dion, Helen Thomas, and Hillary Clinton, among others. Her stint on the show increased her popularity, but also improved her financial status. Ana returned to the show in 2010 and 2012, for a couple of episodes for Mother’s Day.

Aside from “SNL”, Ana made several other appearances, including in the comedy film “Courting Courtney” (1997), then “Meet the Deedles” (1998), with Paul Walker, and Steve Van Wormer in the lead roles, and the romantic comedy “Woman on Top” (2000), starring Penélope Cruz, Murilo Benício, and Harold Perrineau. In 2004 she was mom of the lead character Cady in Mark Water’s comedy “Mean Girls”, written by Tina Frey and based on Rosalind Wiseman’s book, starring Lindsay Lohan, Johnathan Bennett and Rachel McAdams.
