Have you ever wondered how much wealth this multitalented performer has accumulated so far? How rich Ike Barinholtz is? According to sources, it is estimated that the total amount of Ike Barinholtz, as of early 2017, is over $400,000, acquired through his career in the movie making industry which has been active since 2001.
Ike was born to Peggy and Alan Barinholtz, in a family of “liberal people with great senses of humor” as he once described them. From his father’s side, Ike is of Jewish heritage, and from his mother’s of British, German and French descent. He attended Bernard Zeil Anshe Emet Day School and later The Latin School of Chicago. Upon graduation he decided to relocate to Los Angeles, California in order to pursue his acting career, although as a teenager he was keen on a career in politics. After working as a telemarketer and a busboy, he decided to continue his education at Boston University from which he later dropped out – to improve his acting talents, Ike took comedy classes at ImprovOlympic, The Second City as well as in Annoyance Theatre.
After spending two years in Amsterdam, Netherlands, with the Boom Chicago comedy troupe, Ike made an on-camera debut as Assistant Milligan in the 2001 horror thriller “The Shaft”, featuring Naomi Watts and James Marshall in the leading roles. In 2002, he joined the crew of the comedy sketch TV series “MADtv” in its eighth season – his impersonations of Mark Wahlberg, Nick Nolte, Ashton Kutcher, Matt Damon, Fidel Castro and Arnold Schwarzenegger among others are still well remembered. After a five-year long engagement, he left the show and shifted his focus to movies, and in 2008 appeared in “300” parody “Meet the Spartans”, and subsequently in “Disaster Movie”. Later that year, he voice acted in one episode of the sixth season of “Family Guy” animated TV series. It is certain that all these engagements helped Ike Barinholtz to increase the size of his net worth.
Between 2010 and 2015, Ike occasionally appeared as Frank Gibiatti in “The League” TV series, and from 2013 to 2015 featured in “The Awesomes” animated TV series. However, the breakthrough in Ike’s acting career occurred in 2012 when he appeared in “Eastbound & Down”, which was followed by an engagement in “The Mindy Project” TV series. Apart being a regular cast member, Ike also served as a writer and story editor ’til 2016. Doubtlessly, all these ventures have helped Ike to add to his wealth.
Apart from TV series and all those already mentioned, Ike has added several notable movie roles to his acting portfolio – in 2005 he appeared in Jason Winer’s short comedy “The Adventures of Big Handsome Guy and His Little Friend” which was nominated for a Chicago International Film Festival’s Best Short Film Award. In 2014 Ike starred opposing Seth Rogen and Zac Efron in “Neighbors” comedy movie as Jimmy, and reprised the role in the 2016 sequel “Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising”. Besides these, Ike appeared in one of 2016’s most anticipated movies, DC Comics’ superhero movie – “Suicide Squad”. All these roles have certainly helped him to increase his net worth by a large margin.
