Bob Einstein Wiki Biography

Stewart Robert Einstein was born on the 20th November 1942, in Los Angeles, California USA , and is a comedian, actor, writer and producer best known to the world as the satirical character Super Dave Osborne, which he himself created. Bob’s career started in the late ‘60s.

Have you ever wondered how rich Bob Einstein is, as of early 2017? According to authoritative sources, it has been estimated that Einstein’s net worth is as high as $5 million, an amount earned through his successful career in the entertainment industry, during which he has won several prestigious awards, including two Primetime Emmy Awards.

Bob is the middle son of comedian Henry Einstein and actress/singer Thelma Leeds. His younger brother is Albert Brooks, producer and comedian, and older brother Cliff Einstein, who worked as an advertising executive.

He got his chance in the entertainment world when he was hired as a writer for the “The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour” (1968-1969), TV series. He used every bit of it since he won his first Primetime Emmy Award for his work on the show.

He continued his writing career with shows such as “The Andy Williams Magic Lantern Show Company” (1969), which is a television film, and “Pat Paulsen’s Half a Comedy Hour” (1970), and “The Ken Berry ‘Wow’ Show” (1972). He then worked for Sonny and Cher on their “The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour” from 1971 until 1974, while he also wrote and directed the comedy film “Another Nice Mess” (1972). After that, Bob worked with Dick van Dyke on his TV special and later TV show -“Van Dyke and Company” – for which he won his second Primetime Emmy Award.

However, his most notable work was creation of the Super Dave Osborne character, appearing for the first time in “The John Byner Comedy Hour” in 1972, and then in 1981 he started his own show, called “Bizarre”, which lasted until 1985. He also revived the character in several other productions, including the “The Super Dave Superbowl of Knowledge” (1994), and “The Extreme Adventures of Super Dave” (2000), among others which only increased his net worth.

Bob has had other acting roles, including that of Marty Funkhouser in the TV series “Curb Your Enthusiasm” (2004-2011), then as Agent Caldwell in the Steven Soderbergh’s crime thriller “Ocean’s Thirteen” (2007), starring George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon. His versatility has certainly helped maintain growth in his net worth.

Regarding his personal life, Bob tends to keep his life as private as he can, therefore, unfortunately no information regarding his marital status or number of children is available to the media.
