Patrick Muldoon Wiki Biography
William Patrick Muldoon III was born on the 27th September 1968, in San Pedro, California USA, and is an actor and musician, perhaps best known to the world as Austin Reed in the soap opera “Days of Our Lives” (1992-1995), returning in 2011 and playing the character into the next year. He also portrayed Zander Barcalow in the film “Starship Troopers” (1997), and Jack Addison in “Arrival II” (1998), among many other roles. Patrick’s career started in 1990.
Have you ever wondered how rich Patrick Muldoon is, as of early 2017? According to authoritative sources, it has been estimated that Muldoon’s net worth is as high as $1.5 million, an amount earned mostly through his acting career. He is also a famed musician, the singer of the rock band The Sleeping Masses, which has also improved his wealth.
Patrick is the son of Deanna and William Patrick Muldoon II, who worked as a personal injury lawyer. He is of mixed heritage; his father is Irish, while his mother has Croatian roots. Patrick went to the Jesuit Loyola High School, and after matriculation enrolled at the University of Southern California, where he started playing football in the tight end position, and with the USC’s Trojans won two Rose Bowl rings.
Patrick’s career began in 1990 with the role of Matt in the TV series “Who’s the Boss”, and the following year he appeared as Jeffrey Hunter in the TV series “Saved by the Bell”. In 1992 he was chosen for the role of Austin Reed in the soap opera “Days of Our Lives”, continuing until 1995 when he left the show to focus on other acting engagements.
He made his film debut in the action film “Rage and Honor II” (1993), starring Cynthia Rothrock and Richard Norton. Two years later he played Richard Hart in the TV series “Melrose Place” (1995-1996), and then in 1997 was chosen for the role of Zander Barcalow in the Academy Award-nominated Paul Verhoeven’s sci-fi action film “Starship Troopers”, with Casper Van Dien, Denise Richards and Dina Meyer. His net worth was well established.
Until the end of the ‘90s, Patrick scored some of his most memorable roles, including those of Johnny Del Grissom in the mystery thriller “Black Cat Run” (1998) with Peter Greene and Amelia Heinle, then as Steven in the Rupert Wainwright’s horror “Stigmata” (1999), with Patricia Aqquette and Jonathan Pryce as stars of the film.
Patrick started the new millennium with lead roles in several low-budget films, such as “Red Team” (2000) and “Blackwoods” (2001) among many others, which continued until the late 2000s with “Point of Entry” (2007), “Ice Spiders” (2007), and “The Steam Experiment” (2009). Nothing changed for Patrick in this decade, since he still performs in B production films, such as “Patient Killer” (2015), and “Badge of Honor” (2015), among many others, which have certainly added to his net worth.
Patrick also has several projects that are in progress, including films “American Satan” (2017), and “Take 2 for Faith” (2017).
Regarding his personal life, Patrick isn’t married but has been known for his high-profile love life. He has dated some of the most successful actresses, such as Denise Richards and Juliette Binoche.
