José Manuel Figueroa Sr. was born on the 8^th April 1951 in Julianta, Guerrero, Mexico, and he is best known to the world for being a Mexican singer, song writer, who composed hundreds of pop songs, and an actor. He is also recognized as the most awarded performer from Mexico in history of Grammy, in order to win seven Latin Grammy Awards and five Grammy Awards. His career was active from the 1970s until July of 2015, when he died.
