He is also known for performing with the Upstanding Citizens’ Brigade Theater.
Have you ever wondered how much wealth this comedian has accumulated so far? How rich Bobby Moynihan is? According to sources, it is estimated that the total size of Bobby Moynihan’s wealth, as of early 2017, is over $1 million, primarily acquired through his acting engagements as well as his SNL work.
Bobby was born to Julie and Robert, Sr. Moynihan. After attending Eastchester High School he enrolled at the University of Connecticut from which he graduated in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in theatre. Bobby then relocated to New York City, where he joined the Upright Citizens’ Brigade Theatre with which he stayed for almost 10 years, appearing as a member of several sketch groups such as The Stepfathers, Police Chief Rumble as well as The Buffons. With the latter, Bobby toured various festivals all over the states, plus the popular Montreal Comedy Festival – Just For Laughs. These ventures provided the basis for Bobby Moynihan’s net worth.
Parallel to the theater, Bobby also put some efforts towards his movie career – in 2002 he debuted on the big screen as C.D. in “Economics 101”, followed by a small, side role in one episode of “Jump Cuts” in 2004. His movie acting portfolio counts over 20 movies, of which the best known are “Mystery Team” (2009), “The Invention of Lying” (2009), “When in Rome” (2010) as well as “Monsters University” (2013), “Delivery Man” (2013), “Ted 2” (2015) and “The Secret Life of Pets” (2016) which grossed over $875 millions at the box office. It is certain that all these movie roles contributed to the overall size of Moynihan’s net worth.
In 2008, Bobby Moynihan was cast in a supporting role in “The Line”, the popular web-series directed by Seth Meyers featuring also Jason Sudeikis and Bill Hader from “Saturday Night Live”. The real breakthrough in Bobby’s performing career occurred later that year when he joined the crew of SNL during the show’s 34th season. Since then he has appeared on the show in an impressive variety of roles, of which the most famous certainly are Mark Payne, Ass Dan, Anthony Crispino and Drunk Uncle. Doubtlessly, these engagements have helped Bobby Moynihan to further increase his overall wealth.
Apart from those mentioned above, Bobby Moynihan had also appeared as a regular cast member of “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” as well as MTV’s “Human Giant” and the “Every Week on Entourage” web-series.
