Michael Clervoix, better known by his stage name Sha Money XL, was born on 11 February 1976, in Queens, New York City USA, of Haitian descent. He is a record producer who rose to prominence as the producer of G-Unit Records, and went on to establish himself as one of the best producers in the world of Hip-Hop.

Money grew up in Jamaica, a middle-class neighborhood in Queens, New York. The following year he was appointed the senior VP of A&R at Def Jam Records, and not long after, he became the executive producer for Big K.R.I.T.’s debut album, “Live From the Underground” and signed 2 Chainz to the Def Jam label.
