James Arthur Boeheim was born on the 17th November 1944, in Lyons, Wayne County, New York State, USA, and is a college basketball coach, best known as the head coach of the Orange, the men’s basketball team at Syracuse University. Previously, he was a professional basketball player, who played in the American Basketball League for the Scranton Miners. His career has been active since the late 1960s.
