Robin Zander is a Beloit, Wisconsin-born American singer as well as a rhythm guitarist perhaps best known for being the lead singer of the rock band “Cheap Trick”. Born on 23 January 1953, Robin has been active in the field of music since 1973. Robin is now considered as one of the great voices in the world in the sector of rock music.

A very popular singer who has managed to inspire several rock singers in the 1980s and 1990s, one may wonder, how rich is Robin Zander at the present? As estimated by sources, Robin counts his net worth at an amount of $25 million as of mid-2016. He has been able to amass such wealth by releasing several successful albums and touring with his band for the past 40 years and more.

Raised in Wisconsin, Robin was interested in music from his childhood; at the age of 12, Robin taught himself to play guitar and was active in school productions. During his teenage years, Robin was involved in bands including “The Destinations”, “Butterscotch Sundae” and “The Hoods”. As a part of these bands, Robin used to cover popular songs from hit bands including “The Beatles” and “The Rolling Stone”. After matriculating from high school, Robin teamed up with another musician Brian Beebe and started making music in the name of “Zander and Kent”. As a part of the duo, Zander played at Picadilly Club in Wisconsin Dells, but as the duo’s contract with Picadilly Club expired in 1974, Robin was invited to join a previously formed rock band, “Cheap Trick” which he accepted.

When Robin joined “Cheap Trick”, the band included Rick Nielsen, Tom Petersson and Bun E. Carlos. Being a part of the band, Zander released seventeen studio albums including “Cheap Trick”, “Dream Police”, “Busted” and “All Shook Up” among others. The band became very popular in its time, touring the world giving concerts. As a part of “Cheap Trick”, Robin has managed to become an iconic singer whose vocals have influenced several popular singers and artists including Joe Elliot, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Kurt Cobain of Nirvana and others. Of course, being a part of the successful journey with “Cheap Trick” has added quite significantly to Robin’s net worth over the years.

Apart from playing and singing for his band, Zander was also active in his solo career as a singer. In 1993, Robin released his first self-titled solo album which was a huge success in the market. More recently, Zander released another album – “Countryside Blvd” – in 2011. He has also worked alongside several other musicians and has appeared in their albums such as “Nashville Outlaws: A Tribute to Motley Crue” with singers Cassadee Pope among others.

Regarding his personal life, 63 year-old Robin leads his life as a married man and a father of five children. His wife is former model and Playboy Palymate Pamela Stein with whom he has three children; he has two children from a previous relationship. He currently resides in Florida with his family.
