Adam Carolla Wiki Biography
Adam Lakers Carolla was born on 27 May 1964, in Los Angeles, California USA, of Italian (father) and Irish (mother) descent, and is a comedian, radio personality, television host and actor. He rose to prominence in 1995, after co-hosting the syndicated radio call-in program Loveline. Now, he hosts a podcast talk show ‘The Adam Carolla Show’ which is the most downloaded podcast according to Guinness World Records.
So just how rich is Adam Carolla? Sources estimate that Adam’s net worth is over $15 million, accumulated while making his career as a radio and television personality, comedian and comedy writer, actor and even carpenter over a more than 20 year period.
Adam Carolla’s parents didn’t give him a middle name but while filling in his drivers license application he filled in Lakers as he is the fan of professional basketball team Los Angeles Lakers: the made-up name still is on his license. Adam’s net worth started growing when he accepted the job of co-host the radio call-in show ‘Loveline’ with physician Drew Pinsky, created by Scott Mason and Jim Trenton. Later, Carolla resigned from ‘Loveline’ and he was announced as the host of a new morning radio show on the Infinity Broadcasting network, ‘The Adam Carolla Show’, created by Adam himself which also added to the overall sum of his net worth.
In 2009 the show was cancelled, and Carolla started a daily podcast on his personal website, the same year it was announced as the Best Audio Podcast of 2009 by iTunes. Meanwhile Carolla had increased his net worth while co-hosting the comedy television show ‘The Man Show’ with Jimmy Kimmel, which was also developed by Adam Carolla, Daniel Kellison and Jimmy Kimmel. and which ran from 1999-2003. Those three then established American Production Company ‘Jackhole Productions’ and released the television show ‘Crank Yankers’ which ran until 2007. He has also hosted the talk show ‘Too Late with Adam Carolla’ on Comedy Central.
Adam Carolla’s net worth rose further when he appeared as a celebrity in the special summer series ‘Gameshow Marathon’, as well as ‘Dancing with the Stars’ and ‘The Celebrity Apprentice’. In 2011, Carolla debuted ‘The Car Show’ on which car reviews, tests and humor were mixed; the show received positive reviews and was loved by public.
Having a nice voice tone, Adam Carolla also worked as a voice-actor on cartoons: Buzz Lightyear of ‘Star Command’, Death on ‘Family Guy’, (replacing Norm MacDonald), Spanky Ham on ‘Drawn Together’ and Wynchell on ‘Wreck-It Ralph’.
Carolla has raised his net worth further by publishing books; ‘The Dr. Drew and Adam Book: A Survival Guide to Life and Love’ a self-help book co-written with Marshall Fine, ‘In Fifty Years We’ll All Be Chicks… And Other Complaints from an Angry Middle-Aged White Guy’ which debuted at number eight on the New York Times Best Seller list for hardcover non-fiction in 2010, ‘Not Taco Bell Material’ also climbed the New York Times bestseller list, as did ‘President Me: The America That’s in My Head’.
In his personal life, Adam Carolla married Lynette Paradise in 2002; they have two children together.

Adam Carolla Quotes
- (2002) I like to fly model airplanes over at the Van Nuys model airplane airport in the Sepulveda Basin. It’s embarrassing, but I usually go over there by myself or I’ll recruit some friends to go with me. I have like 20 planes, Spitfires and Mustangs, and I have had some midair collisions. The people who hang out there are nice guys for the most part, but it’s the kind of guys you’d picture out there, not a bunch of guys who look like Lorenzo Lamas with hot girls sitting on the back of their fully dressed hog waiting for them to finish landing their Cessna. It’s more guys who live the simple life. They’re not on the Riviera. I am definitely the biggest celebrity at this place.
- Without idiots, there would be no geniuses.
- Figure out what to do, then take a nap.
