Zane Lamprey Wiki Biography
Zane Lamprey was born on 2 April 1972, in Syracuse, New York State USA, and is a writer, producer, editor and actor, best known for being the host of “Three Sheets” from 2006 to 2008. He has also hosted “Fine Living”, “Travel Channel” and “Have Fork, Will Travel”, but all of his efforts have helped put his net worth to where it is today.
How rich is Zane Lamprey? As of mid-2017, sources estimate a net worth that is at $2 million, earned through success in his various endeavors. He also created “Drinking Made Easy”, a show focused on drinks and American bars. As he continues his career, it is expected that his wealth will also continue to increase.
Zane attended SUNY Cortland located in Cortland, New York, studying fine arts and theatre. After graduating, he would pursue a career on television – one of his first projects was the international pub crawl series called “Three Sheets”, which aired on MOJO HD. In the show, Zane travels various locations to learn about their drinks and drinking customs, however, the show ended in 2008 when MOJO HD went off the air. He tried to move the show to other networks, and eventually the chairman of HDNet Mark Cuban found interest. The following year, after long talks it was reported that the Fine Living Network (FLN) got the rights of “Three Sheets”, and it started airing on the network in the same year. The fourth season aired on FLN however, after the network was rebranded as the Cooking Channel, “Three Sheets” was cancelled. Zane did a brief stint of “Three Sheets” on the Travel Channel, but after a few months it was cancelled, but also found its way to air a few episodes on Spike TV.
In 2010, Lamprey started the “Drinking Made Easy”, which is a comedy show that also showcases discussion about alcohol, on HDNet. It featured a similar structure but this time focused on drinking culture in the United States. It was retained for a second season in 2011 in which Lamprey was now featured as an executive producer – the show made its way to the rebranded AXS TV for a third season in 2012. He also decided to release a book entitled “Drinking Made Easy!”
A few of Lamprey’s latest projects include a travel show called “CHUG!”, in which Lamprey visits the greatest drinking destinations around the world. He also has a crowd sourced fundraiser to help support the show. Aside from these, he also has a weekly podcast show called “The Zane Lamprey Show” which discusses drinking, shooting around the world, and current events. They also have celebrity guests.
Zane has ventured into business too, creating the premium rum company called Monkey Rum, which is known for creating coconut and spiced rum products. It is currently based in New York, but plans to expand to other states as well.
For his personal life, it is known that Zane married Jennifer Roa in 2006, but they divorced in 2008. Four years later, he married Melissa Schilling.
