Tricia Helfer was born on the 11th April 1974, in Donalda, Alberta, Canada, and is an actress and former model, probably best known for her roles in such TV series as “Battlestar Galactica” (2004-2009), “Burn Notice” (2007-2009), and currently in “Lucifer”. Helfer’s modelling career started in 1992 and ended in 2002, while her acting career began in 2000.

Have you ever wondered how rich Tricia Helfer is, as of early 2017? According to authoritative sources, it has been estimated that Helfer’s net worth is as high as $5 million, an amount earned largely through her successful acting career, but in addition through her previous modelling career.

Tricia Helfer is a daughter of Dennis and Elaine Helfer, and grew up in Alberta with her three sisters, attending the William E. Hay Composite High School, and in the meantime she worked on the family’s grain farm, before she was discovered by a modelling agency scout at the age of 17.

Tricia began modelling in 1992, and won the Ford Models’ Supermodel of the World contest, and later worked for high-profile companies including  Carolina Herrera, Christian Dior, John Galliano, Claude Montana, Givenchy and Dolce & Gabbana. Naturally, she also appeared on numerous magazine covers, including ELLE, Cosmopolitan, Vogue, Marie Claire, Amica and Flare, was Maxim’s calendar girl for 2005, the cover model for the February issue of Playboy magazine in 2007, and worked ads for Ralph Lauren, Chanel, Versace and Giorgio Armani. Her net worth was well set.

Her acting career started in 2002, when she appeared in two episodes of “Jeremiah”, and in an episode of the Golden Globe Award-nominated series “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation”. From 2004 to 2009, Tricia played Cylon Number Six in 73 episodes of the Primetime Emmy Award-winning show “Battlestar Galactica” – the popularity of the series helped Helfer to raise her profile even further, and increase her net worth significantly.

In 2006 Tricia appeared in “The Genius Club” starring Tom Sizemore and Stephen Baldwin, and in “Memory” alongside Dennis Hopper and Billy Zane, followed in 2007 with roles in “Spiral” and “Battlestar Galactica: Razor”, while she also started playing in the Primetime Emmy Award-nominated series “Burn Notice”, appearing in nine episodes through 2009. From 2009 to 2011, Helfer played in three episodes of the Golden Globe Award-winning “Two and a Half Men”.

In 2012, she had a part in 12 episodes of “The Firm” starring Josh Lucas, and lent her voice to the Grid in the Primetime Emmy Award-winning animated series “TRON: Uprising”. Helfer also starred in the mini-series “Ascension” in 2014, while most recently, she appeared in such shows as “Suits” (2015-2016) and “Powers” (2016). Since 2016, Tricia has played Charlotte in the TV series called “Lucifer” – her net worth continues to rise.

Regarding her personal life, Tricia Helfer married Los Angeles entertainment lawyer Jonathan Marshall in 2003. Tricia has four artificial discs in her back and an addition two in her neck, as a result of an incident in a commercial airliner, when luggage dropped on her head.

Tricia Helfer Quotes

  • [ on roles such as the Texas Ranger she plays on Killer Women (2014)] Quite often, when strong female characters are written, especially if they are in law enforcement, they tend to be very one-or-two-dimensional. But Molly isn’t.
